My name is William and I am a multi-talented Graphic Designer with extensive experience in Web design, video, print collateral, sales presentations and advertising. Accomplished at understanding the complex needs of clients and providing innovative design solutions. Exceptional multitasking skills and accustomed to producing outstanding results in deadline driven environments.
My passion for design was sparked in 1993 while taking a desktop publishing course as part of my curriculum at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh’s Music and Video Business program. After graduation, I continued to build my skill set and knowledge base on my own and eventually started freelancing part-time as a graphic designer in 1996.
As a freelance designer I carry over a decade of “real world” graphic design and desktop publishing experience with work appearing in COREL Magazine, CorelXARA website and IllustratorWorld.com. Some of the organizations and agencies that I have worked with include: Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board (annual report), HyperBoy Media (motion graphics), Olszak Management Consulting, Inc. (identity package/branding), SecuraComm (logo design), Lydia’s Place, Inc. (annual reports), Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh (signage, print ads), The Urban League of Pittsburgh, Inc. (fliers, booklets, etc.), Pneuma Publishing International, Inc. (website design, graphic design, desktop publishing), Onyx Woman Magazine (magazine layout), RDP Consulting Services, Inc. (website design, powerpoint templates), and the Center for Hearing and Deaf Services (website design, pocket folder design).
I am constantly in the process of learning and exploring new software and trends in the ever-changing design field.
